HOW TO VOLUNTEER

The  Cape Canaveral Ladies are a very special group of volunteers dedicated to being a “Silent Witness” for the Service of a Veteran and/or their Spouse.

Especially important are those with no family present so they are not laid to rest alone. We also hope to provide some comfort to the family.

The only requirements are compassion, dedication and the sincere desire to honor our Veterans for their service to our country.

If you think you might be interested in becoming a Volunteer,  please contact…

All volunteers are required to attend an orientation, which is held the 2nd Tuesday of every month from 11:30-1:30 PM at the VA Outpatient Clinic in Viera in room D-211.

Members planning on becoming “Regular Volunteers” (meaning 4 hours or more weekly) and have been approved by Cape Canaveral National Cemetery Director Don Murphy will need to arrange for fingerprints and TB tests.

Fingerprints are conducted daily from 9:00-11:00 AM BY APPOINTMENT ONLY after the initial orientation has been completed. You will then schedule your fingerprinting and TB test with:
